What to Bring

We take the safety of Gowen Thunder Air Show attendees and performers seriously.

A security screening will be conducted at all parking locations prior to boarding a bus for entry to the show.

 

Prior to the show, please review list of permitted & not permitted items below.  Please pack permitted personal items sparingly to maximize space on the shuttles.  Thank you for helping to keep this a safe and family-friendly environment for everyone!

Permitted

 

  • Backpacks & Cooler Bags (small, unlocked; no hard coolers; subject to inspection at any time)
  • Bottled Water (all filled water bottles)
  • Cameras/Tripods/Binoculars
  • Camp/Folding Chairs
  • Hydrations Backpacks
  • Non-Disposable Water Bottles/Canteens (empty at parking lots, fill at the event)
  • Service Dogs
  • Small/lunch box sized cooler bag
  • Small, pre-packaged snacks
  • Strollers/Wagons (folding/collapsible)
  • Umbrellas (small/individual)

Not Permitted

 

  • Bicycles, Scooters, Skateboards, etc.
  • Drones
  • Drugs or Drug Paraphernalia
  • Firearms/Ammunition (regardless of credential or CCW)
  • Firecrackers/Fireworks
  • Glass Bottles/Jars
  • Hard Coolers
  • Knives/Batons/Weapons
  • Lasers, Laser pointers
  • Pepper/O.C. Spray
  • Pets or Animals
  • Radios/Scanners/Transmitters
  • Smoking/Lighters & Matches
  • Tents/Canopies/Shelters
